Worship gathering of families living in and around Ras Al Khaimah held on 28th April 1988 at a private residence was the start of today’s CSI Tamil Parish in Ras Al Khaimah, later formalized with Inaugural Service and Holy Communion Service on 16th August 1991 by the pastor of CSI Tamil Parish Dubai. With the support of Chaplaincy of Dubai & Sharjah, we conducted regular worship service in a commercial building in Nakheel area, Ras Al Khaimah, since 8th September 1995.
By the immense grace of our Almighty God, the congregation grew and the place was not enough to accommodate everyone attending the worship. Since 23rd March 2013, we conduct our regular worship in St Luke’s Church, Al Jazeera, Ras Al Khaimah. Service is conducted on every Saturday from 7:30 pm till 9:30 pm, Holy Communion Service on 1st and 3rd Saturday and Sing Song service on 5th Saturday. Last Saturday falling on or close to 28th April is celebrated as RAK Church Day to mark the anniversary of CSI Tamil Parish Ras Al Khaimah.
Various ministries are carried out by CSI Tamil Parish RAK. Junior Church ministry is handled by Mrs. Sheeba Jacob, children of our church are guided to lead God centric life in this material centric world. Men’s Fellowship and Camp Ministry are led by Asst. Presbyter. Women’s Fellowship, Prayer Meetings and Cottage Prayers are also conducted regularly. See Worship Timings for detailed schedule of programs.
